Question: “What inspired you to write a series about angels?”
Susan’s Answer: “Writing a story about apocalyptic angels had been percolating in the back of my mind for years. The oldest stories of angels have them associated with the destruction of entire cities and turning people into pillars of salt. Angels are described as playing an essential role in ancient stories of the end of the world. I thought it would be interesting to bring it back into modern times.”
