This week’s feature:
“True Blood” movie adaptation based on a book series by Charlaine Harris

I don’t really know anything about the book series, and so far I didn’t get the chance to watch the movie to see if I’d like it or not, but this weekend I came across this ‘bloody fountain’ announcing the new season.. and maybe it didn’t make me too curious about the series, but I did enjoy it pretty much 🙂

Synopsis: (from Goodreads) Sookie Stackhouse is a cocktail waitress in a little bar in Bon Temps, a small town deep in Louisiana. She’s funny and pretty and well-mannered, but she doesn’t have that many close friends – mind you, that’s not so surprising when you consider how few people can appreciate her abilities as a mind-reader. It’s not a quality that has the guys beating down her door – well, unless they’re vampires or werewolves or the like… but they’re not just supernatural freaks, some of them are friends, even family…

If you like the series, enjoy the new season, and if you don’t know about it, maybe you’ll like to check it out!

I definitely would like to start this! After Prison Break *insert a million hearts here followed by fan girl scream* I never really loved a show truly. I do watch Grey’s Anatomy but I just started watching from like the 4th season (without watching 1-3) and I only watch it when my brother & sister put it on, otherwise I won’t go out of my way. Hopefully this will capture my attention because it looks good (good enough for people to make a blood fountain for it…) We should start watching it & see how it turns out! write episode reviews instead of book ones XD

    -thank you&come again.

I usually stay away from TV series.. they are so soooo addictive and unless I have time for a full weekend marathon I close my eyes to them ;)) but the idea about writing episode reviews is kind of fun 😀

True that and when it comes down to it, I rather be spending that time reading then watching you know? I really cannot recall the last time I went to a cinema because I always stay home & read instead of watching a movie.

GOT IT! last time was in may when I went to watch Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Who can say no to captain jack sparrow? who can say no to Johnny Depp?!

        -thank you&come again.

No way, that was my last time at the cinema too, LOL, and it is definitely not me saying no to Johnny ;))
BTW on this weather I rather be spending time reading than.. working :)) with a cup of tea, and some sweets.. oh, one can dream right?

  2. The books are fun, the show is better though 🙂

I’ll check some trailers to see what’s the fuss about, because I’ve heard some friends too talking about it.. I feel like I’ve been living in a cave, not knowing bout it, LOL
