About The Author

Tamara Ireland Stone

Blissfully married. Occasional superhero in the eyes of two remarkable small people. Animal lover. Avid reader. Gadget freak. Music addict. Dreadful cook. Happily stuck in the mid-90s. She writes young adult fiction about fun stuff like travel, music, romance, and normal people with extraordinary talents.

Tamara Ireland Stone is the author of TIME BETWEEN US ( which is published in more than twenty countries and has been optioned for film by CBS Films) and TIME AFTER TIME, companion novels about an intense relationship between Bennett, a time traveling teen from present day, and Anna, the girl he meets in 1995.

TIME BETWEEN US is told from Anna’s point of view. TIME AFTER TIME continues the story from Bennett’s perspective.

Tamara lives just outside San Francisco with her husband and two children. She is currently working on her third novel, EVERY LAST WORD.

Random facts about Tamara:

“Writing has always been something I just do. Sometimes I write for the pure creative joy of it. Sometimes I write because it’s therapeutic. Sometimes my stories are funny, sometimes they’re sad, and sometimes they’re just plain lame—but they’ve always been one thing: just for me. As much as I wanted to become an author someday, I never thought I’d actually let anyone read them. Until recently.”
